Interview with MotherlodeTV and CEO David D’Onoforio

On September 6, White Gold Corp. (V.WGO) put out a press release detailing the new discoveries at it’s “Ryan’s Showing” target. MotherlodeTV recently interviewed White Gold Corp. CEO, David D’Onofrio, about this satellite deposit in the White Gold District, Yukon.

Why is this Ryan’s Showing discovery so significant?

The high grades seen at the Ryan’s Showing are very exciting – the first hole intersected 20.64 g/t Au over 6.10m with individual assays ranging from 7.07 g/t to 39.8 g/t Au. This high grade combined with the fact that the mineralization is just 83.82m from surface and 2 km from our existing Golden Saddle deposit with a 1.2 M oz high-grade resource, makes this target very interesting. This is one of many targets on the White Gold property that has the potential to be a satellite deposit to the Golden Saddle deposit. As they say, the best place to find a deposit is near an existing deposit. Furthermore, the 2km of land on trend between the Golden Saddle and Ryan’s Showing has only had very limited historical exploration. We have identified several targets in this area and are testing some this year. Lidar imagery, DIGHEM and IP-Resistivity has shown this structure to be open along strike and at depth, and demonstrates the potential for multiple mineralized structures.

What is reverse circulation drilling and why do you use it to test new targets?

Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling is a fast, light-weight and cost-effective method of generating high quality samples which are eligible for inclusion of a resource calculation. RC drilling achieves better penetration than Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling, but is cheaper than diamond drilling, allowing us to complete more drill holes within a given time and monetary budget. Additionally, the environmental impacts of RC drilling are minimal as the drill is mounted on rubber tracks that do not disturb the ground.

How did you select “Ryan’s Showing” for drill testing. What features did it have before you brought in the drills? (And, yes, I did read the paragraph on Ryan’s Showing. Could we go even more basic?)

Rather than jump directly to costly drilling, our team uses a systematic approach to exploration. Given our massive land package this is critical; it’s simply not feasible to drill every target on each of our properties. Ryan’s Showing had all of the positive indicators, including geophysical structure as mapped with Lidar, geochemical soil anomalies and rock samples with high-grade gold. The presence of all of these characteristics made the Ryan’s Showing a viable drill target and the drill results confirmed this. This measured approach allows us to stretch exploration dollars further and test more targets each season.

In the release, Jodie (Jodie Gibson, P.Geo. and Vice President of Exploration) mentions “satellite deposits”. How many of these have you identified and, ballpark, what size are you looking for?

There is an old adage, “The best place to make a new discovery is near an existing discovery”.  We have seen this proven to be true over and over again, and we believe this to be the case on our White Gold property. One of the key ways we’re working to grow our existing 1.25M oz gold resource is through the exploration of the land surrounding the Golden Saddle for satellite deposits. There are 5-6 targets we are actively exploring right now, with many more in the queue. With the planned infrastructure improvements, including roads built directly to the White Gold property, even deposits of 250k-500k ounces become viable that are not very close to our existing resource. There are also opportunities to share infrastructure with nearby mines, such as Goldcorp’s mine which is scheduled to be in production by 2021, making satellite deposits more economical.

At this point, are you viewing Ryan’s Showing as part of the Golden Saddle “system” or are you considering it a “stand-alone” occurrence?

Ryan’s Showing is located 2 km away from the Golden Saddle deposit but is along the same trend, and while we believe it to part of the same system, it is a completely new mineralized zone. Ryan’s Showing is characterized by particularly high grades from shallow depths, with the discovery hole returning grades ranging from 7.07 g/t to 39.8 g/t Au, some of the highest ever in the Yukon. What is also very exciting is that the system is wide open and only very limited historical work has been done between the Golden Saddle and the Ryan Showing before this year. Additional results from this year’s exploration are pending and will be released in due course.

How much longer will White Gold be able to continue with this season’s exploration program – weather? Daylight?

Drilling was well ahead of schedule which allowed us to expand our budget and get more exploration work done than originally planned. This is well timed as it will avoid scrambling to finish the program as the days get shorter and temperatures drop. Having achieved our exploration goals we are looking forward to taking the winter to digest this season’s results and sharper our plans for next season. With that said, however, we are set up to and will continue to work as long as it makes economic sense to do so as we are following up on a number of exciting opportunities.

TerraX expands Giant/Con gold system in the Gull and Rater Lake areas, samples up to 171 g/t Au

TerraX Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: TXR; Frankfurt: TX0; OTC Pink: TRXXF – http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298245) is pleased to announce further assay results from the Company’s summer field program on the Yellowknife City Gold project.

High grade gold assays from grab sampling have extended the strike of the Gull and Rater Lake zones. As previously reported these new targets are in the same mafic volcanic geology that also hosted the Giant and Con mines, and are within TerraX’s Core Gold exploration area. The highlight assays are 171.0 g/t Au, 5.60 g/t Au, 5.29 g/t Au, and 4.49 g/t Au on the Rater Lake zones, and 72.0 g/t Au, 52.5 g/t Au, 29.0 g/t Au, and 12.95 g/t Au on the Gull Lake Zone.

David Suda, President and CEO stated: “The results of our summer field work continue to feed our pipeline of drill targets.” David Suda further stated: “It is highly encouraging to see surface results which extend potential strike to the Giant mine structure.”

These gold zones are interpreted as being the continuation of the Giant Mine gold system. The Rater Lake structure has been followed for 300 meters north, and then appears to be offset to the west on the Akaitcho Fault, possibly continuing as the Gull Lake structure for another 1200 meters north. A second sub-parallel zone appears on the south side of Rater Lake with high grade values up to 171 g/t Au.  (see map available here). The multiple gold bearing structures in this area enhance the expanding resource potential of the Northbelt Core Gold Area.

Assay values from grab sampling at Gull and Rater Lakes range from nil to a high of 171.0 g/t Au.  Sampling included insertion of certified standards and blanks into the stream of samples for chemical analysis. Samples were prepared at ALS Chemex’s laboratory in Yellowknife and shipped to their Vancouver facility for gold analysis by fire assay and other elements by ICP analysis. ALS is a certified and accredited laboratory service.  It should be noted that, due to their selective nature, assay results from grab samples may not be indicative of the overall grade and extent of mineralization on the subject area.

The technical information contained in this news release has been approved by Joseph Campbell, Executive Chairman of TerraX, who is a Qualified Person as defined in "National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

About the Yellowknife City Gold Project

    ATO DRILLING

The Company has now completed a total of 126 drill holes for 17,892 meters since acquiring the project in late 2017. Exploration results have been excellent and the exploration team led by Enkhtuvshin Khisigsuren is congratulated.

The Stage 2 drilling program was recently completed with three diamond core drilling rigs completing a total of 9,006 meters. Results have now been received and are reported in this release. The program was highly successful and focused on the ATO4 end of the ATO4-Mungu mineralized trend. The Stage 3 drilling program will commence towards the end of the month and will again focus on the ATO4 – Mungu trend. Some additional oxide infill drilling will also be completed at the ATO2 to improve the current resource and mine model on that deposit.

The completion of the Stage 2 drilling program saw the identification of the first ever visible gold seen at ATO project, with super high gold grades being returned in ATO299 and ATO317. This is highly encouraging as the company further develops its understanding of the ATO Mungu epithermal system as more high grade zones are being identified.

The company has commissioned SRK consulting to complete a structural review of the ATO – Mungu epithermal system with a particular view on developing a better understanding of high grade mineralization. This is nearing completion and is expected to deliver significant gains to future drilling efforts.

    UUDAM KHUNDII GOLD PROJECT

The Company has had a very busy summer at the exciting Uudam Khundii Gold Project in the Bayankhongor gold province with some outstanding early results being returned. Soil sampling, rock chip sampling and geophysics has highlighted four new discoveries all of which will be further tested in the coming months with trenching and mapping prior to the commencement of initial drilling.

The largest of the new discoveries is the Altan Sum discovery which is a gold anomaly measuring approximately 3km x 0.5km with soil samples up to 289ppb gold and rock chips up to 1.38g/t gold.

Additional discoveries have been made at Golden Steppe discovery with a peak soil anomaly of 34ppb gold and rock chips up to 5.39g/t gold, the Blue Hills discovery with a peak soil anomaly of 38ppb gold and rock chips up to 1.37g/t gold and the Milky Way discovery with a peak soil anomaly of 82ppb gold and rock chips up to 2.04g/t gold

In total the Company has now completed 2,400km of ground magnetic surveys, 90.8km of IP Dipole-Dipole surveys, 8,427 soil samples and 346 rock chip samples.

Zinc One Reports Drill Results from Mina Grande Centro, Bongará Zinc Mine Project, Peru

Zinc One Resources Inc. (TSX-V: Z; OTC Markets: ZZZOF; Frankfurt: RH33 – “Zinc One” or the “Company” – http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298394) is pleased to announce the results from 29 of the 64 holes drilled in the Mina Grande Centro zone, Bongará Zinc Mine project located in north-central Peru.  Noteworthy intercepts include 31.8 metres of 28.2% zinc from MGC18012 and 18.0 metres of 26.2% zinc from MGC18023.  These holes tested an area of 125 metres by 50 metres along the northeastern edge of a zone previously mined and subsequently remediated.  These holes demonstrated that the near-surface zinc mineralization is open to the northeast, as was indicated by historic drilling and exploration pits.

Jim Walchuck, President and CEO of Zinc One commented, “The Mina Grande Centro drill program successfully confirmed the near-surface zinc mineralization that was left behind by previous mining activity and clearly showed that additional high-grade mineralization has yet to be delineated to the northeast.  Along with the zinc-oxide deposits at Mina Chica and Mina Grande Sur, we expect Mina Grande Centro to contribute to the overall resource estimate for the project anticipated to be completed during Q4 2018.”

Mina Grande Centro Drill Results Highlights:

  • Significant new intercepts include:
    • MGC18012 – 31.8 metres of 28.2% zinc, from 18.0 metres drill depth
      • True vertical thickness of 22.5 metres from true vertical depth of 12.7 metres
    • MGC18008 – 15.0 metres of 28.9% zinc, from surface
      • True vertical thickness of 15.0 metres
    • MGC18023 – 18.0 metres of 26.2% zinc, from 13.5 metres drill depth
      • True vertical thickness of 12.7 metres from true vertical depth of 9.5 metres
    • Mineralization at Mina Grande Centro includes zinc oxides, carbonates and silicates hosted by soils, highly-weathered carbonates, and fine- to coarse-grained dolomites, most of which are brecciated.

Mina Grande Centro is a part of the Mina Grande zone, one of the three zones of high-grade, near-surface zinc-oxide mineralization along a 1.4 kilometre mineralized trend that was tested by this drill program consisting of 264 holes for 7,930 metres. Drill results at Mina Grande Norte and the remaining drill holes at Mina Grande Centro will be released in the coming weeks.

Geology and Discussion of Results

The zinc mineralization at the Bongará Zinc Mine project is classified as a Mississippi Valley-type deposit and is mostly hosted by strongly dolomitized brecciated limestones that are stratabound.  The mineralization can also occur as tabular bodies with irregular boundaries, which is a characteristic of that mineralization encountered along the periphery of breccias, especially at Mina Chica.  Hydrozincite (zinc oxide mineral), smithsonite (zinc carbonate mineral), hemimorphite (zinc silicate mineral), and a zinc-aluminum-iron silicate are the primary zinc minerals that are hosted by soils, dolomitized breccias, heavily-weathered fractured and vuggy dolomitized limestones, and fine- to coarse-grained dolomitized limestones.

The results from drill holes MGC18001 through 029 at Mina Grande Centro can be found below in Table 1.  A detailed map titled “Drilling and Pit/Surface Sampling at Mina Grande Centro” can be found on the Company website at www.zincone.com.

Sampling and Analytical Protocols

Zinc One follows a systematic and rigorous Quality Control/Quality Assurance program overseen by Dr. Bill Williams, COO and Director of Zinc One.

The sample from each core run is placed in a 60-centimetre long, plastic core box that has five columns.   Core recovery, rock quality designation (“RQD”), and geologic features are logged and sample intervals, which are generally <2 metres, are chosen. Each core box is photographed and then sampled with a spatula, if soil or heavily-weathered rock, or cut with a core saw, 50% of which is placed in a sample bag and stored on site in a secure location. The Company independently inserts certified control standards, blanks, and duplicates, all of which comprise at least 20% of the sample batch, to monitor sample preparation and analytical quality.  The samples are stored in a secure area until such time they are shipped to the CERTIMIN laboratory in Lima (ISO 9001 Certified) for preparation and assay. At the laboratory, samples are dried, crushed, pulverized and then a four-acid digestion is applied.  This is followed by the ICP-AES analytical technique for 33 elements, including lead.  The same method is used to assay zinc for values up to 20%.  If zinc values exceed 20%, it is then analyzed using a titration method.  The laboratory also inserts blanks and standards as well as including duplicate analyses.

Qualified Person

The technical content of this news release has been reviewed, verified and approved by Dr. Bill Williams, COO and Director of Zinc One, a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101.

About Zinc One Resources Inc.

Zinc One is focused on the exploration and development of prospective and advanced zinc projects in mining-friendly jurisdictions.  Zinc One’s key assets are the Bongará Zinc Mine Project and the Charlotte Bongará Zinc Project in north-central Peru.  The Bongará Zinc Mine Project was in production from 2007 to 2008 but was closed due to the global financial crisis and concurrent decrease in the zinc price. Past production included >20% zinc grades and recoveries over 90% from surface and near-surface zinc-oxide mineralization. High-grade, zinc-oxide mineralization is known to outcrop between the mined area and the Charlotte Bongará Project, which is nearly six kilometres to the NNW and where past drilling intercepted various near-surface zones with high-grade zinc.  Zinc One is managed by a proven team of geologists and engineers who have previously constructed and operated successful mining operations.

White Gold Makes New High-Grade Gold Discovery Along Trend with Golden Saddle Deposit Including 20.64 g/t Au Over 6.1m & 5.02 g/t Au Over 13.2m at Ryan’s Showing Target on White Gold Property, Yukon

White Gold Corp. (TSX.V: WGO, OTC – Nasdaq Intl: WHGOF, FRA: 29W) (the "Company" – http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298556) is pleased to announce that high-grade gold mineralization has been discovered at shallow depths on multiple drill holes on the Ryan’s Showing Target, located along trend with the Company’s flagship Golden Saddle deposit 2 KM to the west. The drill holes were completed using Reverse Circulation (“RC”) drilling which is used by the Company to drill shallow, sub-200m holes more cost efficiently than traditional exploration. The drilling was part of the Company’s 14,500m drill program focused on expansion of the existing gold resource on the White Gold property. This program includes expansion of the Golden Saddle deposit and exploration of nearby targets such as the Ryan’s Showing. A diamond drill will be moved to the discovery site to perform additional exploration. Images to accompany this news release can be found at http://whitegoldcorp.ca/investors/exploration-highlights/.

Highlights Include:

  • Discovery hole WHTRYN18RC0001 intersected 20.64 g/t Au over 6.10m from 83.82m depth, with individual assays ranging from 7.07 g/t to 39.8 g/t Au.
  • WHTRYN18RC0002 intersected 5.02 g/t Au over 13.17 from 121.92m depth, including 9.25 g/t Au over 4.57m from 123.44m depth 100m to the west of the discovery hole.
  • Newly discovered mineralized zone is associated with an east-west oriented, north dipping, structure as shown in Lidar imagery, DIGHEM and IP-Resistivity, which remains open along strike and at depth, and demonstrates the potential for multiple mineralized structures.
  • Discovery situated on 800m x 115m soil anomaly with values from trace up to 1576 ppb Au, on trend with the Golden Saddle with the area between Ryan Showing and Golden Saddle deposit historically unexplored.
  • Historic drill hole(1) in the area (WGRS11D0003) which was drilled subparallel to the structural trend returned 6.34 g/t Au over 6.56m from 159.44m depth
  • The Company continues to test similar targets as part of the program designed to expand the existing resource on the White Gold property.

“We are very excited about the discovery of a significant new high-grade gold zone 2 KM from the Golden Saddle. We have recognized the potential of satellite deposits near the Golden Saddle which would have the potential to greatly increase the size of the Company’s resource,” stated Jodie Gibson, VP Exploration of the Company.  “This is one of many promising targets on the White Gold property tested this year and we are looking forward to the additional results in due course.”

Ryan’s Showing Target, White Gold Property

The Ryan’s Showing is located approximately 2km west of the Golden Saddle deposit on the White Gold property and consists of gold in soil anomalies (trace to 1576 ppb Au) associated with a distinct east-west oriented, north dipping, structure visible in Lidar imagery, DIGHEM, and IP-Resistivity. One historic drill hole(1) in the area (WGRS11D0003) was drilled subparallel to the structural trend approximately 200m north west of WHTRYN18RC0001 which returned 6.34 g/t Au over 6.56m from 159.44m depth; indicating the potential for high grade mineralization in the area which has been confirmed by holes WHTRYN18RC0001 and WHTRYN18RC0002. The area along trend from the Golden Saddle deposit to the Ryan Showing has been historically unexplored. In 2018, the Company has performed some additional exploration along trend and results will be released in due course.

Discovery Drill Holes

Four drill holes totalling 681.22m were completed on the Ryan’s Showing this year. WHTRYN18RC001 returned 6.10m of 20.64 g/t Au from 83.82m depth, with individual assays in the zone ranging from 7.07 to 39.8 g/t Au. WHTRYN18RC002 is located 100m west of WHTRYN18RC001 and returned 13.72m of 5.02 g/t Au from 121.92m depth; including 4.57m of 9.25 g/t Au from 123.44m depth. The current geologic interpretation indicates that neither WHTRYN18RC003 & 004, located approximately 150m to the west and northwest of WHTRYN18002, respectively, were drilled deep enough to intersect the mineralized structure(s). The reported RC holes were drilled at a 180o azimuth and -60o dip.

Follow-up diamond drilling is planned for the target and will be commenced during the 2018 season.

Significant drill results from the Ryan Showing are detailed in the table below.

There is not currently enough information to estimate true thickness of the mineralization at this time.

The White Gold Property is located 95km south of Dawson City, Yukon. The property’s 1,792 claims totaling 34,951 hectares are 100% owned by the Company. The property has an airstrip, barge access, and a fully operational 100-person camp. The Yukon Resource Gateway Project funded by the federal and territorial governments will provide year-round road access to the property.

  • Reported in Independent Technical Report for the White Gold Project, Dawson Range, Yukon, Canada by Gilles Arseneau, P.Geo. dated Sept. 15th, 2017 and available on SEDAR.

About White Gold Corp.

The Company owns a portfolio of 19,606 quartz claims across 30 properties covering over 390,000 hectares representing approximately 40% of the Yukon’s White Gold District. The Company’s flagship White Gold property has a mineral resource of 960,970 ounces Indicated at 2.43 g/t gold and 262,220 ounces Inferred at 1.70 g/t gold as set forth in the technical report entitled “Independent Technical Report for the White Gold Project, Dawson Range, Yukon, Canada”, dated March 5, 2018, filed under the Company’s profile on SEDAR. Mineralization on the Golden Saddle and Arc is also known to extend beyond the limits of the current resource estimate. Regional exploration work has also produced several other prospective targets on the Company’s claim packages which border sizable gold discoveries including the Coffee project owned by Goldcorp Inc. (disclosed M&I gold resource of 4.1M oz) and Western Copper and Gold Corporation’s Casino project (disclosed P&P gold reserves of 8.9M oz Au and 4.5B lb Cu).

  • Eine bedeutende NSR-Royalty auf einer signifikanten und wachsenden kanadischen hochgradigen Goldlagerstätte;

White Gold Makes New High-Grade Gold Discovery Along Trend with Golden Saddle Deposit Including 20.64 g/t Au Over 6.1m & 5.02 g/t Au Over 13.2m at Ryan’s Showing Target on White Gold Property, Yukon

White Gold Corp. (TSX.V: WGO, OTC – Nasdaq Intl: WHGOF, FRA: 29W) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that high-grade gold mineralization has been discovered at shallow depths on multiple drill holes on the Ryan’s Showing Target, located along trend with the Company’s flagship Golden Saddle deposit 2 KM to the west.
